On Tuesday, Nov. 7, the Union of American Physicians and Dentists (UAPD), AFSCME, held a press event to announce a crucial development in ongoing contract negotiations with the County of Los Angeles. Since 2021, UAPD members have been engaged in contract talks. Their collective bargaining agreements expired on September 30, 2021, and after over two years of negotiations, the members are now voting to authorize a strike.
